ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Brett Woitunski – VP, Product – Leaf Group
Achieving the “Rapid” in Rapid Prototyping
“The recent proliferation of new, robust digital prototyping tools creates both opportunities and challenges—particularly for those of us developing web-based publishing properties. How and when should we work them into our process? And with the sophistication they provide, how do we keep our prototyping rapid?”

Brett Woitunski is a designer, entrepreneur and digital product executive with fifteen years of experience in management and product leadership positions. He’s sold two businesses, most notably Virb.com, which is now owned by Godaddy. He’s held senior product positions at Myspace and Spin Media, and is currently the VP of Product for the media division of Leaf Group, Ltd.

Matt Maggard – Product Director – Society6
When — and If — to Prototype
“Today’s fast moving and lean businesses need to build, measure and iterate. How should prototyping fit into a Product and Design workflow that needs to keep the Engineering pipeline full? When should we prototype and when should we use other techniques to confidently make decisions that propel the business forward?”

Matt Maggard has been designing, building and growing brands online for 19 years for companies like MGM Studios, Match.com, HP, Nestle, and more. As a product executive, his focus is on strategy, monetization and platform dynamics. Matt is currently working to build Society6 into the ultimate art and design marketplace.

Wayne Chang – Product Director – Saatchi Art
Gaining Insight and Meaningful Data from your Prototype
“You know your product’s requirements and goals, and you have built a prototype that is mostly functional. What now? How do you collect useful feedback and insight to answer core questions about your product? How do you collect meaningful data that would validate your decision to move forward with this product?”

Wayne Chang has been designing and developing digital products for over 15 years, leading product development at various marketplaces and media companies including DogVacay, Photobucket, Oxygen Media and Newsweek. Currently, Wayne is working to make Saatchi Art the go-to platform for emerging artists and aspiring art collectors around the world.
